WHO IS THE PRAIRIE CALIFORNIAN?
For a printable biography or media kit, you can download here.
Jenny Dewey Rohrich is the writer, photographer, and recipe developer behind Prairie Californian. She is a self-proclaimed country girl, daughter of a butcher, boy mom, and home cook. She was born and raised in Northern California, but after joining social media, Jenny met and later married a third generation North Dakota farmer.
Agriculture has always been close to her heart and because of that Jenny started Prairie Californian. She strives to bridge the gap between those far removed from the farm by giving people insight into life on their farm. Today, Prairie Californian has become a hub for all things family, food, and farming. Where a busy mom can find inspiration to answer the age old question, “what’s for supper”, where city dwellers can learn about rural North Dakota farming, and a place where anyone can feel at home to share about #reallife.
Jenny now calls the rural prairies of North Dakota home where they farm wheat, corn, soybeans, and sunflowers with her husband’s family. She can be found with a camera in her hand capturing the world around her, being mom to their little man, and whipping up only the finest of culinary creations in her rural North Dakota kitchen.
