READING

I have recently become ADDICTED to learning about the enneagram and personality types. I’ve been listening to several books on personality types and categories and how to use the enneagram in a real life situation. I also FINALLY finished the book Perfectly Yourself, which has been an incredible and life changing book but has been tough for me to get through because it is so dense with amazing information and how to implement them in real life. It isn’t a hard read by any means, but really applied to my life so I wanted to let it soak in.

LISTENING TO

I have taken a DEEP dive into podcasts lately and if there is something playing, it is usually a podcast (or an audiobook). It is amazing that I can consume information all while doing dishes or sitting at my desk working. I love it and it has completely changed the game when it comes to reading and learning more! Some of my favorite podcasts:
The Caliphate // I am obsessed with ISIS so this was super up my alley!
By the Book // These two ladies  are hilarious! It is a great, easy listen too.
The Purpose Show // I love all things Allie. Everything she puts out is just fabulous, seamless, and professional.
Rise Together // My favorite new couple. I love their couple’s discussions a lot more than I love the powerhouse that is Rachel Hollis. Their conversations are real, honest, and vulnerable. And we need more of that within the marriage space.
Catholic Stuff You Should Know // I LOVE listening to these four priests. A lot of the things they discuss is over my head when it comes to knowledge about theology in the Catholic church, but I love their discussions.

COOKING

If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE all out, lavish recipes that require challenging me in the kitchen. But I have a one year old and typically I am cooking supper on my own most evenings, so we’ve gotten into a routine of simple, easier meals that are still delicious. My Instant Pot has been my saving grace lately! I use it probably 4+ times a week and I have converted a ton of recipes into pressure cooker recipes. Anyway, here are a few of our go-to easy recipes lately:

BUYING

A little bit of everything here from my latest makeup and skincare finds to fall staples I’ve added to my closet to our latest favorite items for Levi!

BEAUTY
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base // One of my favorite makeup artists swears by this and now I do too. It provides the most beautiful and silky base without being as heavy as a primer. I love that it provides my face antioxidants as well!
Rosehip Oil // I used this as a base to make my own face serum and I have been loving it!
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer // I’ve been on a quest for the best concealer for me – currently using this one and I really like it. It is the perfect amount of coverage without being too heavy.
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation // I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told this is the holy grail for foundation. I’ve avoided buying it for forever because it is so expensive. But everyone was right, this stuff ROCKS! It goes on beautifully and is so natural!
NARS Laguna Bronzer // I have been using a bronzer by Becca that I loved – until I tried this bronzer. It goes on so beautifully and is a gorgeous bronze color! I will be ordering a full size of this one once I use up all my bronzer from Becca. PS: my highlighter from Becca can’t be beat though!

FASHION
Field Jacket // I have been on the fence about getting a field jacket for forever. I finally pulled the trigger during a sale and I LOVE IT! It is a perfect staple for my closet.
Luxe Striped Tee // The luxe tees from Old Navy are my favorite and honestly some of the only tees I will buy. I love the feel and the fit and they aren’t clingy.
Notch Collar Pajama Set // I had been on the hunt for a pajama set that wasn’t too expensive. This set is super comfy and works perfect. Plus I feel like having a pajama set is SO adult!!
Super Long Open Front Sweater // This cardigan is super light and perfect for fall. I love the long length and the camel color is so beautiful!
Converse Shoreline Slip on Sneaker // I picked these up on sale after I had been eyeing them for a while. They are hands down one of my favorite shoes and go with everything!! I love the leather details too.

BABY/TODDLER
Little Tikes Cozy Truck //  Levi is OBSESSED with this truck. When he sees it in the garage, he points and wants to get in it.
Stasher Silicone Bag // I love using this bag for Levi’s snacks. A lot of his snacks come in big, bulky containers which make taking them along tough. This slim bag holds a lot of snacks and takes up a small amount of space in the diaper bag.
SDADI Kid’s Learning Stool // I have gotten a TON of questions about this learning stool so here’s the link – we LOVE it! Levi loves to be up at the counter and “helps” me cook almost every night. He also eats a lot of cheerios off the counter on this stool.
Corona Multipurpose Ointment // THIS STUFF IS MAGIC!! We’ve been getting a lot of acid poops (sorry, TMI) when Levi is teething. It is awful. But this stuff will clear it up OVERNIGHT. It is horse ointment, so if that isn’t a thing you want to put on your kid that’s fine. But I have honestly thrown away or given away all other diaper creams (besides Aquaphor) and only use this!!
Phil & Ted’s Lobster High Chair // We ordered this high chair when we were traveling to Kansas City. It has been AMAZING!! We keep this in the car and use it every time we go eat. It is so compact and easy to pack and Levi loves sitting in it too.
