Red Wine Sauce

simple and quick red wine steak sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch + some water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except the cornstarch over medium high heat. Let reduce for 20-25 minutes. Once reduced, thicken by adding 1-2 teaspoons of cornstarch mixed in some water. Whisk in to thicken. Remove from heat and serve immediately over steak or pork chops. Enjoy!
