Mary’s Waffle Iron Cookies

Ingredients

Cookies

  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups flour

Frosting

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/41/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat your waffle iron.
  2. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the frosting until smooth and pour-able. Set aside.
  3. Mix the cookie ingredients together in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Use a tablespoon to drop some dough into the hot waffle iron.
  5. Bake cookies for about 1-2 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting while warm. Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired.
  6. Continue baking until you are out of cookie dough.
