Jenny, I’ve never considered traveling to SE Asia, so I’m curious about how came about making a decision to travel there? Did you plan your own trip?

Karen, we hadn’t really thought of ever visiting there BUT my husband’s college roommate and good friend is living in Singapore! So we had a place to stay and someone who knows the area while we were there. We figured what better time to visit SE Asia than when we’ve got connections there! He helped us find a travel agent there he has used for some of his trips. She’s the one who booked our hotels in Cambodia and Thailand and our tours for each place. It helped so much (at least for my husband and I) to have a set itinerary! We envy those people who are “wanderers” in that they can just take off and wander from one place to another but that isn’t for us! 🙂
